Victor Tripple with his 1968 BSA Firebird Scrambler Make: BSA Model: Firebird Scrambler Country of Origin: England Engine: 650cc Twin Transmission: 4 speed Owner: Victor Tripple City: Long Beach		1968 BSA Firebird Scrambler Congratulations to Victor Tripple of Long Beach for winning Bike of the Month with his 1968 BSA Firebird Scrambler. The bike is 100% original unrestored with only 6600 miles on the clock. Although the bike has original paint, it has a new clear coat and new decals. The only other thing that has been replaced are the tires. I don't have a lot of history or data on this bike. Victor has owned it for about 7 years, it originally came from Michigan. Thank you Victor for bringing it to our meet. I shot a lot of photos in our March Gallery.

The Bike of the Month contest is held monthly at the Vintage Bike OC meet. Qualifying motorcycles must be 30 years old or older. Former Bike of the Month winning bikes are not eligible to win again. Anyone attending the meet is eligible to enter a qualifying bike in the contest and vote for their favorite bike. The winning bike is chosen by a popular vote and is featured on the Home page for one month and in this feature article. The Bike of the Month articles are permanent content on the site.
