Congratulations to Bob Primmer of Corona del Mar for winning Bike of the Month with his 1941 BMW R12.
Bob won a plaque provided by Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys.
Bob and his son Chet have only recently shown up to our meets, but last month they took Second Place with
their 1972 Kawasaki H2 750.

The 1941 BMW R12
This bike was built for the English market and restored in England. After restoration, it spent
many years in a museum in Holland. Bob has owned the BMW for about three years.
Two unique features for the time are its shaft drive, and it was the first BMW with
hydraulic front telescoping suspension.
This is not the first time we've had a BMW R12 win Bike of the Month, it's happened
