All Japanese Motorcycle Club
Bill is no stranger to the Japanese Vintage bike scene in Orange County. For many years he was the
Regional Representative for the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club (VJMC). Bill now
is heading up the All Japanese Motorcycle Club (AJMC) www.AllJapaneseMC.org.
He has been restoring Japanese motorcycles for 12 years.
Bill just bought this bike in November 2021 from Ray Smith of Fontana. Ray had the bike on display at the 2021 International Motorcycle Show (IMS) in Costa Mesa.
Ray had done a restoration within the past two years.
The Honda CL125A had a stamped metal frame and the engine looks to be a stress member. This one happens to be powder coated in a Honda correct yellow.
The 125 engine is a four-stroke parallel twin with a single Makuni carburetor. According to Wikipedia, the CL125 engine was the smallest twin four-stroke engine Honda ever produced.
The CL125A was available from 1967-1969.
It was replaced in 1973 by the CL125S, a 122cc Single four-stroke with a tubular frame. The CL125S also improved the transmission, changing it
from a 4 speed to a 5 speed.
Thank you Bill for bringing your 1967 Honda CL125A out for all of us to see. See all the photos in our February Gallery.
