|February 2008 Bike of the Month
| Craig Rich with his 1947 Velocette
Country of Origin: England
Engine: 500cc single cylinder
Owner: Craig Rich, Norwalk
This group must really like 1947 English bikes, this is the second month in a row that we've chosen one for Bike of the Month.
Craig just bought this bike back in July 2007 as a basket case. In seven months he put it back together as a great runner. He said, "It was like somebody took it apart 50 years ago, and just never put it back together." The bike is all original except for the paint, we're glad that Craig put it back together and brought it down for all of us to enjoy.
Along with this one, Craig also has another Velocette, a Matchless, 2 Nortons and 2 Triumphs in his stable. I'm looking forward to seeing some of these other bikes too. Thank you Craig for bring it out, and congratulations on winning Bike of the Month. There was some stiff competition this month.
