1966 Honda Superhawk

Congratulations to Gerald Prendergast of Cypress for winning Bike of the Month with his 1966 Honda Superhawk. Gerald won a $20.00 Beach Burgers gift certificate provided by Beach Burgers and The Scooter Solution.

Gerald has owned the 305 for about two years. It's been through a 100% stock restoration. He purchased the bike from Farmer Dave in Stanton along with many NOS parts.

This bike was used in a photo shoot for Haggerty Classic Car magazine Summer 2012 for an article on Honda motorcycles. Click below to the issue online:

Gerald has several vintage Hondas including his 1965 Honda CB450 Black Bomber which placed second back in December 2012.

Thanks Gerald for bringing this cool bike to our meet. View all the photos in our February Gallery.

The Bike of the Month contest is held monthly at the Vintage Bike OC meet. Qualifying motorcycles must be 30 years old or older. Former Bike of the Month winning bikes are not eligible to win again. Anyone attending the meet is eligible to enter a qualifying bike in the contest and vote for their favorite bike. The winning bike is chosen by a popular vote and is featured on the Home page for one month and in this feature article. The Bike of the Month articles are permanent content on the site.
