Congratulations to Eugene Garcin of Hollywood for winning Bike of the Month with his 1954 BMW R51/3. Eugene won a $20.00 Beach Burgers gift certificate provided by Beach Burgers and The Scooter Solution.
Eugene won back in July with another beautiful BMW. He has owned this bike for eight years and it's been 100% restored. The engine has been rebuilt three times, Eugene rides his motorcyles. The R51/3 is equipped with a Steil sidecar which is packed with a ton of post-war style.
Originally from France, Eugene has been in the USA since 1981. He proudly had the American flag mounted on his bike in honor of all our Veterans and rode the long way down from Hollywood on PCH through Long Beach.
In 1981 Eugene and his friend spent the year on two 1971 BMW R75/5's by putting 21,000 miles on them. Their journey started in Montreal Quebec, down the east coast to Central America and then up the west coast to Los Angeles.
