Congratulations to Glenn Thompson of Anaheim for winning Bike of the Month with his 1969 BSA Rocket 3.
Glenn has owned this bike since 1973. The BSA Rocket 3 was designed by Triumph to be sold under both the BSA and Triumph Triton badging. It was created to meet the demands of the American market.
When Glenn got the bike it had a custom lace paint job and was missing several of the chrome and aluminum bits that give it it's unique styling. The bike went through a complete restoration in 2005, and all the original missing parts were replaced.
One of the unique features of this bike is the three into two exhaust system. The silencers have a rocket inspired triple outputs, and the center cylinder is split into both sides.
