VINTAGE BIKE OC NEWS

Huntington Beach, Calif. - A perfect So Cal November afternoon. We had a great turnout with many first time bikes and several previous winners. Our co-founder Greg McBride brought out his 1949 Vincent Black Shadow Rollie Free Tribute and 54 others were there to check out.


Greg won Bike of the Month back in June 2016 with this awesome bike.

Bike of the Month - Bob Barnett

Bob Barnett of Costa Mesa with his 1960 Triumph Speed Twin.

Congratulations to Bob Barnett of Costa Mesa for winning Bike of the Month with his 1960 Triumph Speed Twin.

Bob hasn't owned it very long, this bike was originally purchase by the city of Liverpool England for their police force. It was used in procession for The Beatles return to Liverpool. Here is Bob's story on the bike:

Second Place - Anthony LaGrasta

Anthony LaGrasta of Mission Viejo with his 1982 Honda GL500.

This is the first time Anthony has brought his GL500 to our meet. He has owned the bike for 15 years and has recently finished customizing it.


For reference, this is a stock Honda GL500 Silver Wing.

Third Place - Eugene Garcin

Eugene Garcin of Hollywood with his 1974 Norton Commando 850 Interstate.

Everytime Eugene rides down from Hollywood, he brings something special and today was no different.

He has only owned this Interstate for a month. It was the last year of production for this bike.
