Congratulations to Mark Abrahams of New York, NY for winning Bike of the Month with his 1974 Ducati 750 Super Sport.
Mark won a plaque provided by Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys.
Mark's So Cal Connection
Mark grew up in Tustin and keeps his collection of motorcycles here in So Cal.
He brought his 1977 Ducati 900 Super Sport to our meet back in August 2018 and took second with that bike.
Mark bought this bike in Alabama three months ago. The restoration is about 10 years old.
These were the first production twin motorcycles from Ducati. Born out of the racing bikes from the early 1970's
that were raced by people like Paul Smart.
They were known as the "Green Frame" bikes and primarily built for racing. Most of them never saw the street.
Mark says that his serial number 007 indicates that it's the 4th production motorcycle.
Here's a great article about it from the National Motorcycle Museum.
Thank you Mark for bringing your Ducati for all of us to see. See all the photos in our January Gallery.
