Congratulations to Jeff McCoy of Huntington Beach for winning Bike of the Month with his 1950 Norton ES2.
Jeff won a plaque provided by Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys.
Jeff is one of the original members of this group. He has been a member longer than I have and he has a fantastic collection of motorcycles. Every one that I have seen is remarkable, but he usually shows up later, and scoots out early so he's rarely in the running for Bike of the Month.
Jeff has only owned this bike for a week and a half, and had to ride it to the meet today.
The Norton ES2 is the sport model of the rigid framed Norton Model 18. It features a plunger rear suspension giving it superior handling to the 18.
The restoration on this bike is about ten years old.
