Congratulations to Greg McBride of Laguna Woods for winning Bike of the Month with his 1949 Vincent Black Shadow Rollie Free tribute bike.
Greg won a Mr. Pete's Grill gift certificate provided by Mr. Pete's Grill and two Lucas Oil products donated by Lucas Oil and Mike Wells.
Greg is no stranger to this group, in fact he founded the group in 2004 with Thomas Harper as a Wednesday night meet-up for pizza.
He has won Bike of the Month twice in the past, first in December 2012 with his 1948 Vincent HRD Black Shadow, and then in July 2013 with his 1955 Vincent Black Prince.
Greg has owned this bike since 1995 and for 15 years and it has been an ongoing project. He calls it his Hot Rod, Rollie Free Tribute bike. Rollie Free broke the land speed record on a Vincent Black Shadow in 1948, hitting 150.3MPH on the salt.
It has many custom and aftermarket parts including a Terry Prince top end, and Carrillo Rods.
