Congratulations to Ken Morris of Alta Loma for winning Bike of the Month with his 1970 Triumph Bonneville T120R. This was Ken's second time to our meet. In June he tied for third and today he easily took First place.
Ken has owned this bike for over 10 years. In March 2013 he started the one year restoration project.
Ken meticulously sourced every part to ensure it was as close to original as possible. It took him 9 months and four tries to find the correct wiring loom.
The paint was done my Don Hutchinson in Massachusetts who is nationally known for his factory correct Triumph painting.
Ken has ridden and raced Motocross and offroad bikes all his life.

The Bike of the Month contest is held monthly at the Vintage Bike OC meet. Qualifying motorcycles must be 30 years old or older. Former Bike of the Month winning bikes are not eligible to win again.
Anyone attending the meet is eligible to enter a qualifying bike in the contest and vote for
their favorite bike. The winning bike is chosen by a popular vote and is featured on the Home page for one month and in this feature article. The Bike of the Month articles are permanent content on the site.
