Congratulations to Lee Barden of Redondo Beach for winning Bike of the Month with his 1972 Norton Commando 750.
Lee won a trophy provided by Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys.
Lee started coming to our meet after he purchased his Commando in July 2016 from Andy Boone. Andy was a the Bike of the Month winner in February 2016 with his 1980 Harley Davidson XR750.
The bike was in the same condition when he bought it from Andy. From the first ride, he knew he wanted to have it.
The restoration was done by Tim McIntyre of Lake Elsinore.
Tim also restored Bruce Fickling's 1972 Norton 750 Commando Fastback, Bike of the Month August 2017.
Lee is an Electrical Contractor in Redondo Beach and runs Barden Electric, Inc. www.BardenElectric.com.
Thank you Lee for bringing your Norton for all of us to see. See all the photos in our May Gallery.
