Congratulations to Randi Coddington of Huntington Beach for winning Bike of the Month with her 1965 Harley Davidson FLH Electra Glide.
Randi won a plaque provided by Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys.
Today was Randi's first time at our meet and she didn't even intend to enter the competition. She parked off to the side, and I had to ask her
to move her bike to get into the contest. Her response was "This thing kind of goes where it wants..."
She spends her time between Huntington Beach and South Dakota, and we were just lucky to have her spend an afternoon with us.
Randi has owned the Harley for 35 years and riden it all over the country.
The 1965 Harley Davidson FLH Electra Glide was the last year for the panhead motor and the first year for the
Electra Glide electric start.
The fender wrap around guard that she calls the Ben Hur bumper, came from a 1940's Servi-Car. Randi say's she plans on washing it "some time this year".
