Ken & Sheryl Morris and their 1969 BMW R60/2 Make: BMW Model: R60/2 Year: 1969 Country of Origin: Germany Engine: 600cc Twin Transmission: 4 speed Owner: Ken & Sheryl Morris City: Rancho Cucamonga		1969 BMW R60/2 Congratulations to Ken & Sheryl Morris of Rancho Cucamonga for winning Bike of the Month with their 1969 BMW R60/2. They won a Mr. Pete's Grill gift certificate provided by Mr. Pete's Grill. Ken bought the R60/2 off of E-Bay three years ago from a guy in Minnesota and according to him it was a rusty mess. He restored it to prestine condition in his garage over a 1 1/2 year period. This BMW is loaded with accessories: Denfeld Luggage Rack Kienzle 8 Day Clock Tachometer Hella bar-end turn signals Spotlight/Mirror combination Crash/Safety Bars The paint was done by a local Rancho Cucamonga guy who restores Ferrari's as his full time job. The Bike of the Month contest is held monthly at the Vintage Bike OC meet. Qualifying motorcycles must be 30 years old or older. Former Bike of the Month winning bikes are not eligible to win again. Anyone attending the meet is eligible to enter a qualifying bike in the contest and vote for their favorite bike. The winning bike is chosen by a popular vote and is featured on the Home page for one month and in this feature article. The Bike of the Month articles are permanent content on the site.
