Congratulations to Ken Morris of Upland for winning Bike of the Month with his 1968 BMW R60/2.
Ken won a plaque provided by Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys.
Ken has owned this BMW for 5 years and completed a nine month restoration in April just in time to
take it to the Quail Motorcycle Gathering in Monteray and taking Second place in the European class.
It's no wonder he took nearly every vote today.
Ken didn't ride it down from Upland today, but he rides it regularly.
Rare Accessories
This bike has several unique and rare accessories, including an auxiliary headlight with a rear mounted mirror, a tachometer,
an eight day clock and rear luggage rack.
This was Ken's third Bike of the Month win.
He won back in September 2016 with his 1969 BMW R60/2 and in
July 2014
with his 1970 Triumph Bonneville T120R.

The Bike of the Month contest is held monthly at the Vintage Bike OC meet. Qualifying motorcycles must be 30 years old or older. Former Bike of the Month winning bikes are not eligible to win again.
Anyone attending the meet is eligible to enter a qualifying bike in the contest and vote for
their favorite bike. The winning bike is chosen by a popular vote and is featured on the Home page for one month and in this feature article. The Bike of the Month articles are permanent content on the site.
